New Equipment Launch – 10am on 17th July 2023
July 2023 sees the introduction of a number of new equipment items to the expanding FlexEquip loan library. FlexEquip will be launching the following equipment at 10am on 17th July 2023:
Robotic Feeders – 3 x Obi robotic feeders and 1 x Neater Eater – very limited stockLeitner BILLI lightweight basic rear wheel drive folding power wheelchair - limited stockLocLine 60cm super clamp switch mounts
Robotic feeders through FlexEquip are limited to a maximum of a 6 months loan and limited to MND NSW Participants with a diagnosis of MND and who are accessing the MND FlexEquip Bundle (Over 65 years of age and NDIS bundle included).
FlexEquip do not offer equipment for trial.

On 10th January 2023 FlexEquip launches our One-Off Specialised Equipment Library for exclusive use to NDIS Participants accessing the FlexEquip Bundle.
Additional equipment is now available through FlexEquip to NDIS Participants accessing the FlexEquip NDIS Bundle funding.
Changes to iMessage on FlexEquip iPads:

New size options for beds and mattress overlays including limited supply of air replacement systems now available through FlexEquip.

Due to the current COVID-19 lockdown there are, as you would be aware, increasing requirements for people who deliver goods and services across the state, particularly in crossing between Greater Sydney and our regional communities.
Due to the COVID-19 virus we are monitoring and following advice of the NSW Ministry of Health about the coronavirus (COVID-19) to continue to provide our service with the safety of individuals in mind. At this time FlexEquip will continue to provide a service but this is conditional being able to continue to operate the services safely.
The FlexEquip Assistive Technology (Aids and Equipment) Rental List has recently been updated and is effective from 12 November 2019.

FlexEquip is expert in the provision of assistive technology (aids and equipment) for people living with motor neurone disease and other progressive neurological conditions, including multiple sclerosis and muscular dystrophy.
FlexEquip is a service of Motor Neurone Disease NSW (MND NSW), a registered NDIS provider, that assists adults with progressive neurological conditions get assistive technology (aids and equipment) to meet short to medium term needs.
Adults who live in NSW or the ACT diagnosed with motor neurone disease or another progressive neurological condition may be eligible to loan or rent assistive technology (aids and equipment) through FlexEquip.
Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and Physiotherapists assess your requirements in your primary residence.
They select items using the Product Library and submit a referral using FlexEquip Referral Cart.
The FlexEquip range includes assistive technology (aids and equipment) that are loaned or rented to you for short to medium-term use. The returned items are checked and cleaned according to a strict cleaning protocol by FlexEquip staff prior to subsequent loan or rental.
