SCATIR switch

Item description

The Self Calibrating Auditory Tone Infrared (SCATIR) switch is activated by the smallest of movements of the face or hand. The infrared light detects movement to activate the switch.

How is it used:

The infrared light detects movement and registers that movement as switch activation.

For people with:

Difficulties with speech and difficulties with use of hands.

Key features:

  • can be controlled with an eye blink, eyebrow movement, finger movement, head movement, and facial muscle movement
  • can be mounted a variety of ways:
    • gooseneck mount
    • eye glass mount
  • installed with a rechargeable battery.
